My Story

Morghan Hungerford is an experienced second grade teacher and was named Charles County Public Schools’ 2022 Teacher of the Year. She’s taught all major subject areas at a Title 1 elementary school, as well as been a team leader for second and third grade. Throughout her career, she’s worked with students from a variety of backgrounds – gifted and talented, English as a second language, and students with intellectual and physical disabilities. She’s also contributed her knowledge and experience at the county and state level, developing social studies curriculum.
