INDIANPOLIS – American College of Education is proud to announce a new level of program offerings for busy working professionals looking to advance their education. The ACE micro-credentials provide single-courses that are credit-bearing and become part of an official academic transcript. After the students complete the three required classes, they may be eligible to earn a micro-credential, including a digital badge.

Flexibility is key as students can choose to stop after earning a single micro-credential and badge, or to keep stacking up more credentials – all the way to a degree.

“We know that it can be intimidating to commit to a full degree,” said Stephanie Hinshaw, senior vice president of academic affairs at ACE. “By allowing students the flexibility to earn micro-credentials, we’re really guiding students through an education that makes career goals attainable. Every badge that they earn can be applied toward further pathways of study at ACE, if they choose to do so.”

The fourteen new micro-credentials are designed to give working professionals and students the ultimate flexibility in their educational journey.

ACE currently offers micro-credential badging in 14 areas of study:

  • Community College Leadership
  • Curriculum & Instruction
  • Differentiated Instruction
  • Digital Learning & Teaching
  • Educational Entrepreneurship
  • Educational Technology
  • Healthcare Financial Management
  • Healthcare Quality Management
  • English as a Second Language and Bilingual Education
  • Information Systems
  • International Education
  • Leadership
  • Personal and Professional Skills
  • Teamwork Skills
