Graduate Education at ACE

Advanced education advances careers. In many fields, graduate-level education is required to move up or get ahead. We can equip you with the necessary knowledge and skills quickly and affordably, whether it’s in the form of a short micro-credential or comprehensive master’s degree.

Micro-credential

In addition to ACE’s general admission requirements, below are the admission requirements for our graduate-level micro-credential programs:

  • Official transcript showing completion of a bachelor’s degree or highest post-baccalaureate degree earned from an accredited institution 
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale for full admission 

Certificate

In addition to ACE’s general admission requirements, below are the admission requirements for our non-licensure graduate-level certificate programs:

  • Official transcript showing completion of a bachelor’s degree or highest post-baccalaureate degree earned from an accredited institution 
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale for full admission 
  • Minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale for provisional admission

Below are the admission requirements for our graduate-level certificate programs leading to initial teaching licensure: 

  • Official transcript showing completion of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution 
  • At least one of the following: 
    • Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale 
    • Minimum GPA of 2.5 and at least five years of documented professional experience in education 
    • Proof of passing Indiana state-approved content area examination in Mild Intervention 
  • Pass a criminal background check from Safe Hiring Solutions 
  • Acknowledgement of field-based experiences and classroom access 
  • Additional documentation as needed based on subject area 

We also offer graduate-level certificate programs approved for principal licensure in certain states. Admission requirements vary by program and details can be found on each program’s page.


Master’s Degree

In addition to ACE’s general admission requirements, below are the admission requirements for our non-licensure master’s degree programs: 

  • Official transcript showing completion of a bachelor’s degree or highest post-baccalaureate degree earned from an accredited institution 
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale for full admission 
  • Minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale for provisional admission 

Below are the admission requirements for our master’s degree programs leading to initial teaching licensure:

  • Official transcript showing completion of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution 
  • At least one of the following: 
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale 
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5 and at least five years of documented professional experience in education 
  • Proof of passing state-approved content area assessment in the subject area 
  • Pass a criminal background check from Safe Hiring Solutions 
  • Acknowledgement of field-based experiences and classroom access 
  • Additional documentation as needed based on subject area 

Admission requirements for our M.Ed. in Educational Leadership program can be found on the program’s page.

Below are the admission requirements for our MSN degree programs: 

  • RN to MSN 
    • Official transcript showing completion of an associate degree, diploma in nursing or 90 undergraduate credits from an accredited institution 
    • Minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale for full admission 
    • Minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale for provisional admission 
    • Documentation of an active, unencumbered RN license 
    • Acknowledgement of the requirement to have a clinical/practicum setting to complete the program 
    • Additional state-required documentation, as needed 
  • BSN to MSN 
    • Official transcript showing completion of a bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution 
    • Minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale for full admission 
    • Minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale for provisional admission 
    • Documentation of an active, unencumbered RN license 
    • Acknowledgement of the requirement to have a clinical/practicum setting to complete the program 
    • Additional state-required documentation, as needed
