What can you do with a leadership degree?
A degree in leadership equips you with a versatile skillset that can be applied to a variety of industries and within many different specialties. This could give you the opportunity to work in a range of fields instead of staying siloed, perfect for those who seek a dynamic career. Typically, the roles you pursue will involve guiding people, strategy or operations. Leadership degrees can also be helpful for moving up in your field, strengthening your credibility for promotions and pivoting into people-focused roles, like HR or training.
What types of leadership degrees are available?
Leadership degrees are often versatile, helping you learn skills that can be applied to many industries and workplaces. However, some leadership degrees do focus on a specific field. Here are some examples:
ACE’s Certificate in Principal Preparation and M.Ed. in Educational Leadership are just two of several programs we offer that are designed to equip current educators with the leadership skills they’ll need to become school leaders or principals.
ACE’s B.S. in Business Administration and Leadership and Master of Business Administration have a business-oriented focus, with courses that cover topics like economics, finance and human resources.

How much does an online leadership degree from ACE cost?
Program cost will depend on the academic level of the program as well as the number of credits required to complete the program.
ACE’s tuition is among the lowest when it comes to leadership degrees. Our B.S. in Business Administration and Leadership has a total cost of $10,014.2 Most master’s degrees are under $10,000.2 All of ACE’s doctorates are under $25,000.2
What is the job outlook for leadership degree graduates?
All organizations need effective leaders. Graduates with leadership degrees can pursue job opportunities in a wide range of fields, making the job outlook healthy. According to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, management roles – which are typically associated with leadership degrees – are projected to grow faster than the average for all occupations from 2024 to 2034, with about 1.1 million openings projected on average each year.3
