The college demonstrates continuous growth with strong student and employer satisfaction rates alongside repeated national recognition for academic program quality.
For higher education institutions to effectively equip students for workforce demands, it’s essential to make student-centered infrastructure go from a mission statement to a daily reality.
American College of Education (ACE) designed its approach to higher education so that earning a quality degree is not only affordable but doable for working professionals. Accomplishing this involves creating an intentional feedback loop where student and employer satisfaction metrics inform areas of strength and opportunity.
By combining insights from institutional research with findings from third-party studies, ACE demonstrates how data can be used to drive meaningful improvements in student outcomes.
As of April 2026, the college elevated its student and employer surveys to include additional insights about student and employer satisfaction. Most notably, the findings indicated that:
- 99% of students felt their program helped them achieve their goals1
- 98% of students felt their courses were relevant to their careers1
- 93% of students felt course content and design were excellent1
- 93% of employers find ACE graduates use technology effectively to support their work1
- 92% of employers find ACE graduates apply what they learned in their program effectively to their work1
- 89% of employers would hire other ACE graduates1
Two additional findings from ACE’s internal research further highlight the college’s strong commitment to personalized support: a student-to-faculty ratio of 11:12 and an average class size of 24.5.1 These findings, as well as the additional satisfaction data, are housed in the 2026 Student Right to Know report, which highlights other key metrics, including a 97% overall student and 94% employer satisfaction rate.1
Further validating ACE’s mission to provide quality degrees for less, the 2025 analysis of data from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) found that several of the college’s program areas rank among the largest in the nation per number of graduates, including:
- Most master’s degrees conferred in Educational Leadership and Administration, General3
- Most master’s degrees conferred in Health Teacher Education3
- Most master’s degrees conferred in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Educational Methods3
- Most doctoral degrees conferred in Educational/Instructional Technology3
Demonstrating measurable impact is no longer optional. Institutions must be able to prove that their programs produce meaningful outcomes and evolve to meet the changing needs of employers and the workforce. Prominent industry sources – the U.S. Department of Education, Higher Learning Commission and National Conference of State Legislatures – note increasing expectations around transparency, accountability, outcomes and return on investment for higher education.
ACE accomplishes its student-centered mission by focusing on real needs, demand and outcomes, exemplifying how higher education can make a global, measurable impact.
