ACE Ranks Among Top 10 in Multiple Degrees, IPEDS Reports

INDIANAPOLIS–American College of Education has improved upon its previous rankings as a leading conferrer of graduate level degrees in education, according to newly released data from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS). IPEDS is an annual survey that collects institution-level data from postsecondary institutions in the United States.

According to the report, ACE conferred 3,258 degrees in the 2019-2020 academic year—a 20 percent increase since its 2,709 conferrals in 2018-2019. Twelve degree rankings were listed in the top 10 (See below for a full listing.).

Particularly in its education programs, ACE increased its ranking for doctoral programs from 48^th to 9^th overall while increasing market share. The master’s level is listed third overall.

“I’m very, very excited with this data,” ACE President Shawntel Landry said. “We confer degrees at four different levels—bachelor’s, master’s, educational specialist, and doctorate—and to see the fruit of the efforts of our faculty and staff reminds us that we are living out our mission to see students reach their goals and cross the finish line of graduation.”
