Sara Reichard

Registered Nurse, RN to MSN Student

Sara Reichard is a Registered Nurse currently residing in northeast Ohio with her husband and two children. Right out of nursing school, she worked as a nurse in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). She then became a community health nurse in El Salvador, where she held clinics in both the city center and remote villages. After returning to the U.S., she spent ten years working as a per diem nurse across many intensive care units. When her kids reached school age, she shifted to begin work as a supervisory school nurse and went back to school for education. She ended up loving education so much that she obtained an educational specialist degree and began a school specifically for gifted learners in her tri-county area. She served as its founder and program director for three years. She now is an adjunct professor at American College of Education.
