Previously, he's served as associate professor and dean for a school of health sciences and a school of applied sciences and engineering technology, where he provided oversight to multiple academic programs in healthcare, nursing, public service and STEM-related professions. Prior to working in higher education, Fowler served as a hospital administrator.
