ACE Month of Impact

Let’s band together this September to make an impact.

Commitment to Social Responsibility

Every September, the entire ACE community – staff, faculty, students and alumni – rallies together for ACE Month of Impact, a month where we work to make a positive impact in our communities, nationwide or even globally. While we embody our core value of social responsibility in every decision we make, we recognize our tremendous potential to make a big difference if we create intentional time to give back. So, ACE Month of Impact is that time!

Making an impact looks different for everyone. An impact action could look like donating to a charity or nonprofit. It could look like volunteering your time at a food bank or making a lifestyle change to live more sustainably. This month, we encourage you to think about how you can make an impact and share with us your impact actions.

From Monday, Sept. 1 to Tuesday, Sept. 30, for every impact action you make, you’ll be entered for a chance to win a donation we’ll make on your behalf to a charity or nonprofit of your choice. The more impact actions you complete, the larger the donation you could win.

  • 1 impact action – entry to win $100 donation
  • 2 impact actions – entry to win $250 donation
  • 3 impact actions – entry to win $500 donation
  • 4 impact actions – entry to win $1,000 donation

ACE-specific Ways to Make an Impact

There are plenty of ways that you can make an impact just by taking advantage of the benefits we provide our staff and faculty. If you engage in any of the actions below this September, either share it on social media or let us know at [email protected] and we’ll also give you credit for an impact action

Use Your Civic PTO

Each full-time ACE employee can take up to 16 hours per calendar year to participate in a volunteer activity of their choice. In 2024, our goal is to collectively use 3,400 hours of civic time. Using your civic PTO in September will contribute to our collective goal AND count as an individual impact action!

Donation Matching Policy

ACE will match an employee donation of $25 or more up to $100 per employee per calendar year. If you donate in September and get ACE to match your donation, you’ll earn two impact actions!

PTO Donation

One of the ways ACE employees lift each other up is by donating PTO to those within our organization who may need additional time off due to personal/family medical emergency or being affected by a major disaster. In September, donating your PTO can earn you an impact action.

Employee Wellness

Make an impact on your health with our employee wellness program, tailored to help you lead a healthier, more balanced life. Join a wellness challenge in September and earn an impact action.

General Ways to Make an Impact

Each week, we’ll feature one specific impact action you can take to participate. We also have other suggestions and resources below to help you discover ways you can make an impact. However you choose to join us, your support counts as impact actions toward ACE Month of Impact!
