We are and have always been, accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, a federally-recognized accrediting agency. Accreditation ensures that an institution’s academic program meets or exceeds acceptable levels of quality and is the most recognized accreditation status for higher education entities.

CAEP

In May 2020, American College of Education’s Professional Education Programs was granted Accreditation at the initial-licensure level and advanced-licensure level through Spring 2027, for a period of seven (7) years. Accreditation for seven (7) years is granted if the EPP meets all CAEP Standards and components.

CCNE

The baccalaureate and masters degree programs in nursing offered by the American College of Education are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. Officially recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education as a national accreditation agency, the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) is an autonomous accrediting agency, contributing to the improvement of the public’s health.
