INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Ivy Tech Community College and American College of Education (ACE) have signed a transfer agreement for Ivy Tech’s associate of science and associate of applied science degrees in the School of Health Sciences, to American College of Education’s Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration. “We are thrilled for our Health Sciences students to offer them this opportunity for transfer with American College of Education,” says Mary Anne Sloan, vice president of healthcare, Ivy Tech Community College. “Students in healthcare are afforded many career opportunities with an associate degree, and additional training and education will take them even further. We are proud to partner with American College of Education and look forward to seeing our students succeed.”

Students can transfer all credit earned in 20 of Ivy Tech’s qualifying associate degree programs to the Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration program, and automatically fulfill the minimum 60 semester credit hour requirement for admission. Additional conditions include:

  • Submit a complete application for admission to ACE
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4-point scale for full admission, or minimum cumulative GAP of 1.75 on a 4-point scale for provisional admission
  • Maximum number of transfer credits ACE will accept from Ivy Tech graduates for ACE’s Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration program is 84 semester credit hours

“There is a growing need in the healthcare sector, and jobs in this area are forecast to rise in the coming years.
