About Karen

Karen brings more than 25 years of teaching and advising to American College of Education. She began her career as a teacher in the early childhood field and served as a mentor, teacher trainer, and camp director before completing her graduate degree in special education. After an additional two years teaching children with learning disabilities and autism, Karen decided to leave the classroom to help others pursue higher education. At the same time, she was working to complete her own Ed.S. degree, specializing in early childhood education.
