Our enrollment team loves hearing from ACE alumni. We love hearing how much they enjoyed their experience and how it’s helped them accomplish their professional and personal goals. We also love when alumni want to come back to ACE!

When you’re an ACE alum, you get some special perks when you come back to us for another program. We want to make sure you know about these benefits, as well as share the answers to frequently asked questions by those who return to ACE to continue their educational journey.

Who is considered “alumni” at ACE?

We consider anyone who completes a micro-credential, certificate, bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral program at ACE an alumnus.

Do I get a discount on another program as an alumnus?

Yes! Alumni who have completed or graduated from a qualifying program are eligible to take advantage of the Alumni Continuing Education Grant when they return to complete another program, which reduces the tuition on your next program by 5%.

Do I have to submit another application if I want to do another program or can I just talk to an enrollment counselor?

A new application is required to ensure all program requirements for admission are met, as well as to verify program availability in your state. Additionally, applying for some programs – like our Ed.D. and Ed.S. degrees – require additional steps and documentation. When you are ready to apply, we encourage you to reach out to our enrollment team. An enrollment counselor can be very helpful in navigating the process and providing guidance.

Do I have to pay another application fee?

After you re-enroll at ACE, your application fee will get credited back to you. That means your application fee goes directly towards your tuition. This holds true whether you want to come back for another degree program or you just want to take a single course.

Can I move directly into another program after I graduate?

Your degree or certificate needs to be officially conferred before you qualify for alumni benefits. However, if you’re currently in a program and you already know you want to start another one, let an enrollment counselor know. We can request expedited degree conferral on your behalf.

Can any of my credits transfer from my previous ACE program?

We always work with our grads to ensure they can maximize the credits transferred into their program. Many of our programs do have overlapping coursework and we will apply as many of those credits to a new program as possible. In fact, for some master’s degrees, we’ve built specific dual degree pathways that allow you to earn another master’s in a shorter amount of time. For M.Ed. graduates considering a doctorate, we can apply 18 hours directly toward the completion of the Ed.D. degree.

The ACE enrollment team is here to help you reach your educational goals. If coming back for another program will help you reach that goal, we’ll work to make that process as seamless as possible for you and ensure you take advantage of your alumni benefits. We’re always available to answer your questions.
