Earn Initial Licensure
M.A. in Elementary Teaching*
The M.A. in Elementary Teaching is designed for aspiring educators seeking licensure2 who hold bachelor’s degrees in non-education fields. This program provides you with foundational child development knowledge to successfully lead classrooms from kindergarten to sixth grade. You’ll learn how to deliver effective differentiated instruction, create purposeful assessments to focus and drive your teaching, and build a well-organized, positive learning environment that fosters student achievement.
Build Expertise (Non-Licensure)
M.Ed. in Elementary Education*
The M.Ed. in Elementary Education is designed for elementary educators who wish to advance their expertise and skills. This program will build on your current understanding of young students’ learning needs and introduce you to new ways of incorporating technology into the classroom, including how to manage and utilize artificial intelligence as an effective instructional tool.
A Degree You Can Count On
ACE is – and always has been – accredited by Higher Learning Commission, an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

2Graduates of programs which are approved to lead to licensure, endorsement or certification may be subject to additional requirements for the receipt of initial licensure, endorsement or certification in the state in which they intend to teach or administrate. Students are strongly encouraged to check licensure requirements in the state in which they intend to teach or administrate to determine whether they are eligible for licensure, endorsement or certification. It is vitally important that students know and be continually aware of the requirements for licensure in their state. State licensing requirements and licensing agency information may be found here.
