Your Path to Principal

Florida-approved programs for the Educational
Leader License

Be the Change as a School Leader

American College of Education (ACE)’s online educational leadership programs are approved by the Florida Department of Education to lead to the licensure you need to become a principal or building administrator. Aligned to Florida Educational Leadership Standards, you’ll be equipped and prepared to take the Florida Educational Leadership Examination (FELE).

Get Your Florida Principal License

Our intentional program design and friendly transfer credit policies will help you successfully earn your Educational Leader License quickly and affordably.

Modified Pathway for Florida

If you already have a master’s degree, we’ll review your credits and create a custom pathway for you that ensures you retain as many credits as possible while meeting all Florida standards requirements. While we recommend obtaining a Statement of Eligibility from Florida, we can do a credit review without it.

Complete the Internship

Maximize your time by completing the internship experience at your current school.

Pass the FELE

We embed FELE test prep right into the program. ACE graduates had a 95% pass rate, which is 8% above the state average.*
